John and Mark Nale - Elder Law Attorneys

John and Mark Nale of Nale Law Offices in Waterville began their relationship with Spectrum Generations several years ago as a result of their common goal of educating and assisting seniors and their families on the legal and long-term care planning issues that face them as they age. Because of this common goal to educate seniors, John and Mark frequently speak at seminars and workshops organized by Spectrum Generations and other groups. John and Mark have also participated in and been sponsors of the Spectrum Generations Lifestyle Expo for the past several years.

John and Mark limit their law practice to Elder Law which is the legal practice of counseling and representing the elderly, the disabled and their families about healthcare and long-term care planning, public benefits and the disposition and administration of estates. They are members of the Maine State Bar Association Elder Law Section and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys which is a national organization dedicated to the education of attorneys in elder law matters.

Mark also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Hospice Volunteers Waterville Area. John serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Maine Association of Area Agencies on Aging and the Advisory Committee to the State of Maine, Office of Elder Services. Mark explains that “Spectrum Generations and its seven community centers spread across central Maine are great assets to our elderly. They provide care, companionship, education and social activity for elders of all ages and social status.”
