Buffet Dining at the Muskie Community Center in Waterville
(Waterville –June 1, 2010) SPECTRUM GENERATIONS’ MUSKIE COMMUNITY CENTER, today announced a significant expansion to their Café Plus dining experience. Beginning June 7th diners of all ages will enjoy a buffet lunch each week, Monday through Friday, as well as a breakfast buffet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
In addition to the buffet, the Café plans to offer sandwiches, made daily, and bakery goods from the agency’s own Sugar-Hi Bakery are planned beginning June 19th. The Lunch buffet is slated to run from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. during the week, with a cost of $6 for those under the age of 60 and a $4 suggested donation for those aged 60 and over. Breakfast buffets will be offered three days a week from 8:00-10:00 a.m., with a cost of $5 for those under the age of 60, and a suggested donation of $4 for those aged 60 and over.
Lunchtime entertainment is planned for the enjoyment of the diners, as well as workshops and speakers scheduled for optional Lunch and Learn opportunities. Upcoming events include live music, a junior magician, a gardening workshop and much more.
Renovated in 2009, the center boasts a fun, friendly atmosphere, with an attentive, personable staff. Spectrum Generations’ Muskie Center, located at 38 Gold Street in Waterville, has been serving older adults in the greater Waterville community since 1979, operating such programs as Meals on Wheels, Adult Daybreak, and Consumer Information Services, as well as opportunities for health, recreation, social, arts and education, through a variety of programs, including fitness, workshops, movies, entertainment and much, much more.
