“E-Bay How To - Safely and Securely” with Marty Welt. Join Marty Welt on March 8 and 22 from 9:30 a.m until 11:30 a.m. for an interactive seminar. Using E-Bay is easier then you think if you have the right training. Marty’s workshop will focus on how to buy and sell items on e-Bay.
You will learn how to: set up an eBay account; How to place a bid; How to find the selling value of an item; How to price your items competitively; and tips on listing and describing your item. Since paying for and receiving money is involved with eBay transactions, the course will also cover how this is done securely with PayPal (an eBay payment tool). $20 fee. Instructor Marty Welt has presented courses and workshops for Coastal Senior College covering topics such as "Skype" and digital photography. He holds a BS in Math from the University of Vermont and an MS in Computer Science from Purdue. When he retired in 2000, he was a Bell Lab Fellow and Director of Research and Development.
