Born & raised in Bath, Chef Mollie Jellison has always felt a deep connection to the land & sea that inspires her culinary perspective. Mollie began working in restaurants in the early 90s in Boothbay Harbor, which sparked a lifelong passion for the hospitality industry. After graduating college, Mollie accepted her first kitchen job at the Chowder House, and ignited a fascination for creating beautiful food. In her 20s, she traveled around the country working in various restaurants from Colorado, to the USVI, to Maryland, to Rhode Island, before settling for some time in Louisiana with her husband & children. It was there that Mollie became a part of the team at Del Porto, one of the premiere Italian inspired restaurants in the greater New Orleans region. Under the tutelage of Chefs David & Torre Solazzo, Mollie fortified her love of the restaurant industry, winning three Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence while running the restaurant's wine program. Upon returning home to Maine, she found herself with a very talented culinary and service team, and after a whirlwind 3 months of coordination, opened the doors of Long Reach Kitchen & Catering in May of 2021. Open March through December, and focused on fresh, local produce & seafood, LRKC has quietly gained a steady following, offering up exceptional food, service & beverages, a credit to the talents of the team. LRKC was recently nominated for Best Lobster Roll, Best Burger and Best Bar by the Times Record's Best of the Midcoast, and is a popular gathering place for locals and visitors alike.

He believes love should be the most important ingredient in any culinary quest.
Sheila Iveson grew up in Maine on a large farm in Troy, growing their own meats and vegetables. Once she graduated high school she left Maine and headed out West and started a career in law enforcement. She lived and worked in Napa Valley California for several years and that is where her love of food and learning how to prepare it really began. California has such a diverse culture and many different styles of cooking that really interested her. She traveled to Mexico on occasion to experience the rustic style cooking that Mexico has to offer. Eating and learning simply went hand in hand! She found herself longing for the East Coast and decided that Maine is where her heart is. While her experience in the kitchen was basically none, she always had a part time job in the service industry waiting tables or bartending. But her inquisitive nature of what goes into every dish actually propelled her to buy a food truck and see what she could make of it. Here she is six years later, humbled by the love and support of her customers, grateful for her tight knit community in Oakland, and loving every minute of what she does.
