Spectrum Generations depends on the generosity of private donors, foundations, corporations, United Ways, and public sources to offer the programs, activities and vital services that we provide. This generosity has truly impacted quality of life for the people of the communities we serve.
We need your support more than ever in order to continue to meet the needs of an increasing demand for the services that encompass our mission. As the number of older adults in Maine continues to rise, our communities are at the same time faced with difficult economic times and shrinking governmental resources.
There are a number of ways you can help us continue to serve as a key resource for our families, friends and neighbors:
- Private donations: Monetary gifts may be given unrestricted or you may choose to designate how the gift is to be used and/or for what Center or program.
- Gifts of goods or services: Each of our centers and programs is in need of items, equipment, and services that would benefit those whom we serve.
- Planned giving: If you wish to make a gift but cannot afford to do so at this time, consider remembering us in your will. Cash, securities, real estate, and personal property are all assets that may be given. A bequest can be given unrestricted and used according to the greatest need or may be designated for a specific purpose such as an endowment.
- Memorials and tributes: These are wonderful ways to honor a friend or family member who has passed away.
- Gifts of time: For more information on how you can make a real difference, see Volunteer Opportunities.
