Established by Maine’s great outdoorsman and his wife, Gene and Lucille Letourneau, the Ice Fishing Derby attracts sportsmen throughout the state to compete for prizes for the largest catch in several categories. This multi-generational family event introduces young people to the art and fun of outdoor sports. Children ages 15 and under are encouraged to compete.
Spectrum Generations’ 22nd Annual Gene and Lucille Letourneau Ice Fishing Derby will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2020, (weigh-in between 2:00-5:00 p.m.) at the Muskie Community Center located at 38 Gold Street in Waterville.

Adult 2nd Place: $50.00 cash
Salmon, Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Togue, Splake, Pickerel, Pike, and White Perch.
Child 1st Place: $50.00 cash
Child 2nd Place: $30.00 cash
Child 3rd Place: $20.00 cash
Child is 15 & under, same categories as adult, plus Yellow Perch and Black Crappie.
A live auction follows the weigh-in. Courtney’s Hotdogs will be on site throughout the day! Brownies, cookies, and beverages will be available for purchase inside the center.
Tickets on sale now at the Muskie Community Center. Ticket prices: 1 for $3.00, 2 for $5.00, 5 for $10.00.
Each ticket purchase allows a fish entry and an entry into the drawing for the door prize—a Yeti Tundra 65 cooler valued at $500.00, sponsored by Nale Law Offices.
