Living Well for Better Health

Living Well for Better Health

The Living Well for Better Health is an interactive workshop series held for 2 1/2 hours, once a week, for six weeks.  Adults with any kind of health condition such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, depression, weight concerns, or any other ongoing health problem attend together. Family members or friends are encouraged to attend as well.

You will learn new ways to deal with issues such as fatigue, pain, anxious feelings, sadness or depression.  You’ll learn appropriate exercises for maintaining and improving strength, flexibility, and endurance… how to eat healthier…. how to evaluate new treatments….. how to be a member of your healthcare team….. how to set goals…. plan for your future, and much more.

“I have seen it work. It is hugely satisfying to hear people say „Thank you, this is exactly what I needed‟… and teaching others keeps me honest and doing what I need to do for my own health.”
